In summer 2003 the site of the former pose marré foundry in the old part of Erkrath was put up for sale. As an investor was about to cover this industrial wasteland with concrete and construct two supermarkets with parking spaces for 500 cars, the idea matured in my head to purchase the land and to construct there a new, unusually attractive town centre for Old Erkrath.
An incredibly challenging task!
Our planning, which focussed on 5 key levels (urban planning, architectural, landscaping, social and cultural levels) is a procedure that is totally unusual in Germany.
We are certain that the creative urge, imagination, awareness and enthusiasm that permeate the whole project will convince enough people to come and make their home in the new quarter.
We – the whole team that has been financing, planning, designing, advising and selling – are real people. We don't hide behind anonymous corporations that are able to quickly declare insolvency in order to escape from their responsibilities and liabilities.
Would you like to learn more about our special project? Perhaps you're even on the lookout for high quality freehold apartments, townhouses, lofts and commercial units? Then you should visit us at our information office on the *pose marré site. We'd be more than pleased to see you.
