Blücher Systems specialises in the development, manufacture and sale of integrated protection systems for civil protection, military and police use.

Each protection system is developed in co-operation with the user and research institutes. Particular emphasis is placed on wearing comfort and sweat management. The systems so developed are then systematically tested in the laboratory and during field trials where the garments are worn under different climatic conditions. The product range includes both the integration of ballistic protection and stab and shrapnel protection within the garment systems.

Blücher Systems has developed an innovative load bearing, protection and clothing system for the Infanterist der Zukunft 2 (infantryman of the future 2 - IdZ 2). At the heart of this system is a newly developed load bearing system that is available in two versions which cater for the different requirements of users: Alpha, which offers the maximum possible integration of all components and Zulu which offers the highest possible level of modularity.
