We live to protect and preserve life, not to destroy it, and we have been fulfilling this mission in the work of our company for 50 years.

The solutions developed by BLÜCHER are protected by more than 350 patents and are used worldwide in the various SARATOGA® protective clothing for the military, civil defence, fire department and police as well as by international organizations.

SARATOGA® protective clothing enables these users to carry out their tasks safely. The inspectors of the UN organization OPCW (Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, in The Hague, awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2013) also rely on SARATOGA® protective suits in their work.

The core technology of Blücher protection systems is based on the use of spherical adsorbents. These are manufactured in the company’s own production facility in Brandenburg, Germany.

The ongoing development work, all production steps for SARATOGA® protective clothing and sales are managed from Erkrath near Düsseldorf.

The unique vertical range of manufacture, from the production of the raw material to the delivery of finished products, as well as the sophisticated quality assurance system, uncompromisingly guarantee the quality demanded by users: the basis for millions of trust worldwide.
